Norwegian judge Hanne Sophie Greve is an expert in international law specialized in human rights law and refugee law. She has served as a judge on the European Court of Human Rights and the International Court of Justice in The Hague and participated in various international missions. She was a member of the UN Commission of Experts established in 1992 to examine information about violations of international humanitarian law in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
