The Prijedor and Bosanska Krajina cases have formed the core of the legacy of the ICTY, factually and legally and analytically. And many of the achievements of the analysts at the International Criminal Court today build directly on the work that was done by analysts at the ICTY.
Morten Bergsmo describes in his interview with SENSE in 2018 how the early evidence of widespread war crimes in Prijedor, collected by the UN Commission of Experts, helped develop the law at the ICTY and the workings of the Office of the Prosecutor.
